Duchess Tavern opened its doors in 2014 on NE 55th Street with a simple belief: that a neighborhood bar should be a place worth coming back to. Not a chain, not a trend — just a space where the drinks are made carefully, the food is honest, and the regulars know your name.
Wedgwood has been our home ever since. We source locally whenever we can, pour Pacific Northwest beers alongside a rotating selection of craft cocktails, and keep the kitchen focused on dishes that feel like comfort raised a little higher.
This isn't a place you rush through. It's a place you settle into.
The Experience
Every drink is built by hand — shaken, stirred, or strained depending on what the recipe demands. Our menu changes with the seasons, but the standard never does: quality ingredients, precise technique, no shortcuts.
We pour beers from Washington and Oregon breweries and keep our kitchen menu rooted in Pacific Northwest ingredients. Whatever we serve, we'd be happy to eat it ourselves.
